Etching And Frosting
ETCHED or FROSTED GLASS is a generic term for the treatment of the glass surface to diffuse transmitted light, reduce glare and give the glass a white, frosted appearance. Etching the glass means that we have sandblasted the glass enough to effect the glass surface only. Etching does not go deep into the glass and creates a one-dimensional effect. Designs are sandblasted different ways, creating different effects resulting in different levels of privacy and price. The “same design, done different” creates the privacy you need in a wide range of price, that will vary by design complexity and type of effect: Specialty Glass and Frosted Glass.
